About The Position

This position will be managing the transformation of the store Features experience and Features Application leveraging design thinking and AI tools. Our team focuses on strategic portfolio acceleration, cross-segment tech enablement, tech talent experience (TTX), portfolio foundations, and technology business operations.

Requirements

  • Experience launching software and/or hardware technology products to a large user base.
  • Discernment on how to push a project forward across many stakeholders while maintaining positive relationships, without losing momentum.
  • Advanced storytelling to distill complex technical concepts into succinct stories that can bring all cross functional team members along for the journey.
  • Strong presentation skills to evangelize projects to all levels of leadership and Store Associates.
  • High aptitude for code switching to put every Associate at ease and meet them where they are from a communication perspective.
  • Deep understanding of how software is designed, developed, released and tested.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage cutting edge AI tools to expedite workflows as force multipliers.
  • Build business cases and strategic plans for new initiatives.
  • Evangelize new initiatives with cross functional teams and leadership.
  • Leverage User-centric design in business requirements documentation including user journey mapping.
  • Oversee business requirements handoff ceremonies to Product, Design and Tech.
  • Handle overall program management for the launch of new initiatives to stores.
  • Create and manage to measurement plans for each of their projects to track business outcomes and pivot where needed.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and blockers to leadership.
