About The Position

The Senior Manager, Talent Management is a senior, hands-on leader who blends deep functional expertise with the ability to lead people and programs as business needs evolve. This role owns significant portions of the talent management portfolio, translates enterprise talent strategy into coordinated initiatives, and partners closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to address complex talent challenges and prepare the function to scale. This role provides functional leadership while flexing in and out of direct people management based on business needs.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in talent management, learning & development, human resources, or related field, with advanced expertise in talent management disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs with enterprise or broad organizational impact.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical capability, including experience integrating data, research, and business context to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and partners without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Experience flexing between hands-on execution and people leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency with digital and AI-enabled tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; advanced education a plus.

  • Relevant professional certification (such as SHRM-CP or TMI-STMP) desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead complex, enterprise-level talent initiatives and programs, with accountability for assessing effectiveness and iterating to meet evolving business needs.
  • Translate strategy into integrated plans and scalable execution.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and change management efforts to enable managers and ensure coordination, clarity, alignment, and adoption.
  • Diagnose complex talent challenges and implement solutions.
  • Provide functional team leadership for assigned program areas, including setting priorities, defining standards, and ensuring quality and consistency of outputs.
  • Select, develop, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure capability and effective delivery of talent management programs.
  • Leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance quality, insight generation, and scalability.
  • Ensure inclusive, accessible design standards across portfolio.
