About The Position

The manager, talent management leads the integrated design, development and execution of programs and practices that drive partner development, performance, and engagement across the organization. This role translates strategic priorities into simple change management and operational plans to ensure talent practices, tools, and platforms are effectively built, implemented, and sustained to deliver measurable business value at pace with the business. This role partners with Partner Resources (PRO/ HR) and business leaders to assess talent needs, implement simple, integrated solutions, and measure the impact of talent programs. This role leads a team responsible for planning, executing, and sustaining core talent and team enablement initiatives, connecting systems and experiences to create a cohesive, end-to-end partner and leader experience.

Requirements

  • Expertise in building and implementing integrated, scaled talent solutions, preferably in a retail/food service environment
  • Demonstrated experience clearly and concisely communicating, visually and verbally, adapting messaging to resonate with varied stakeholders across the organization
  • A consultative approach that involves listening attentively, clarifying the problems to solve, and taking a structured problem-solving approach while engaging key stakeholders throughout
  • Experience developing and implementing change management plans, dedicating appropriate time and effort to deeply embed solutions and driving sustainable change
  • Experience building strong relationships across teams and stakeholders to bring others along and set all parties up for success
  • 5 years HR experience preferred
  • 5 years project management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing inspiration, coaching, and direction to achieve partner, business, and customer results
  • Partner with PRO business partners and business leaders to identify talent and team enablement needs to inform prioritization and execution
  • Lead, develop, and implement talent products, practices, and operational processes (e.g. talent discussion & goals tools and practices)
  • Leverage data & insights and COE expertise to continuously enhance and implement products and practices that ensure high-value talent solutions based upon current and future enterprise needs
  • Set the annual calendar of talent products, practices, and routines including change management and communication to all audiences, ensuring workplans are accurate and considerate of other PRO portfolio releases
  • Lead retrospectives, aggregate feedback and give voice to key themes to influence and improve effectiveness of talent products and practices
  • Align team metrics to the health, maturity, and effectiveness of talent and team enablement products and practices
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and promote consistency across the organization
