About The Position

Clio is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Development & Learning for a 14-month contract to cover parental leave. This role is part of the People team and focuses on designing and implementing high-impact learning solutions, leadership development, talent management, and AI fluency programs. The team aims to empower employees and support their growth throughout their careers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR or Talent Development experience.
  • Experience leading talent programs and teams in organizations of 2,000+ employees.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of talent management practices (performance management, succession planning, 360 feedback, career development).
  • Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programs and learning solutions.
  • Hands-on experience leading or working alongside learning experience designers.
  • Genuine energy for AI with real, hands-on fluency.
  • Ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust and drive alignment across People CoEs, People Business Partners, business leaders, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate talent data and program metrics into compelling narratives.

  • Experience leading Talent Development & Learning in hypergrowth tech.
  • Experience building AI capability across a workforce through enablement programs and integrating AI into performance evaluations and talent management practices.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS or similar enterprise HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team of TD&L professionals, mentoring people managers and portfolio leads.
  • Evolve and oversee global talent management programs, including the annual Talent Systems Cycle, mid-year promotion cycle, 360 Feedback, and Succession Planning.
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager of Learning to optimize the Global Onboarding Experience.
  • Guide the launch of Leadership Behaviours and integrate them across talent programs.
  • Provide strategic direction for leadership development programs and coaching for key cohorts.
  • Design and deliver AI fluency enablement programs across the business.
  • Integrate AI fluency into performance management and adopt an AI-first approach for the TD&L team.
  • Measure and report on program KPIs, including behavioral change and effectiveness.
  • Translate talent data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Drive execution on the TD&L strategy through goal setting, KPIs, and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with other People team functions to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Oversee learning infrastructure, including LMS, content strategy, vendor relationships, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Integrate Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity (DIBE) principles into all talent processes.
  • Own the reporting and narrative for the success, budget utilization, and business impact of TD&L initiatives.
