Senior Global Events Specialist (14 Month Contract)

DoceboToronto, ON
CA$74,200 - CA$98,900Hybrid

About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Events Specialist to step into a high-impact contract role covering a maternity leave and take absolute ownership of planning and execution of our North America tradeshows and events. In this role, you won't just manage logistics; you will act as a brand visionary, designing experiences that generate serious pipeline and support Docebo’s major flagship moments like Inspire, RKO, and PKO. You will have a direct hand in elevating our global brand presence by infusing a modern, AI-forward approach into every single event lifecycle. This is your opportunity to build with deep intention, sweat the creative details, and prove how experiential marketing drives massive business ROI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate event management experience, ideally thriving within a fast-paced B2B SaaS, tech, or global organizational environment.
  • Demonstrate a portfolio of successfully managing large-scale tradeshows, conferences, and flagship internal events (like user conferences or sales kick-offs) from conception to close.
  • Work seamlessly within a modern tech stack, showcasing proficiency in project tools like Asana, CVENT, Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and active experience using AI tools to streamline project management, draft briefs faster, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Maintain an ultra-organized, calm demeanor while juggling shifting priorities and collaborating across diverse global teams and multiple time zones.
  • Display a strong commercial mindset with deep expertise in vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and keeping complex event budgets tightly balanced.
  • Maintain the flexibility and willingness to travel up to 30% annually, including evenings and weekends, to bring these experiences to life on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, strategy, briefing, venue selection, and flawless execution for all North America tradeshows and exhibitions.
  • Partner across the business to support the operational delivery of Docebo’s premier corporate events, including Inspire, RKO, and PKO.
  • Manage critical relationships with vendors, sponsors, and internal stakeholders to drive seamless coordination, perfect alignment, and flawless execution.
  • Lead real-time, on-site event activities including guest registration, speaker coordination, and proactive troubleshooting to keep things running beautifully.
  • Leverage industry software including Asana, Google Workspace, CVENT, and Salesforce to maintain organized, scalable, and highly predictable project management workflows.
  • Design memorable, on-brand event activations that captivate attendees, spark meaningful connections, and move away from standard industry checkboxes.
  • Revolutionize the event planning lifecycle by leveraging AI-powered tools and cutting-edge workflows to automate busywork, maximize team efficiency, and scale output.
  • Oversee complex logistical puzzles—including transportation, lodging, catering, and equipment—while meticulously building budgets and negotiating vendor contracts to maximize value.
  • Track, analyze, and deliver rigorous event performance metrics to internal stakeholders, proving clear ROI and mapping event success directly to revenue pipeline.
