About The Position

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition leads strategic workforce planning and talent sourcing initiatives to meet evolving business needs. This role manages multiple projects, aligns recruiting strategies with organizational goals, and partners cross-functionally to optimize talent pipelines. Utilizing data-driven insights and advanced sourcing techniques, the position drives continuous improvement in hiring processes and candidate experience. The role also coaches and develops team members, fosters strong stakeholder relationships, and ensures effective communication to deliver high-impact talent solutions that support business growth and operational excellence. The Walmart Global Tech Talent Acquisition team drives strategic technology hiring across multiple U.S. business units, supporting growth in engineering, data, product, and infrastructure. Acting as strategic talent advisors, the team collaborates with senior leaders on workforce planning, skill segmentation, and hiring velocity. Utilizing market intelligence, data insights, and structured assessments, they enhance hiring quality and build long-term capabilities. The team manages complex, high-volume technical recruitment while influencing organizational design and business outcomes. Their efforts accelerate business transformation, strengthen technical expertise, and establish sustainable hiring models that support Walmart’s innovation and growth.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, and talent pipelining within complex organizational environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple projects and agile workstreams to deliver results aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to analyze data and business metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize recruiting processes.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience coaching and developing teams to enhance performance and talent assessment capabilities.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and advanced sourcing techniques to attract and retain top talent.
  • Adaptability to evolving business needs and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related area and 3 years' experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
  • 5 years' experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
  • 1 year's supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
