About The Position

Reporting to the AVP, Talent Acquisition, as Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in delivering, shaping, and advancing recruitment strategy across a defined portfolio. Your primary focus will be supporting our Asset Management businesses, alongside select broader portfolios including Technology. You will lead a small team of recruiters and operate as a key member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, contributing to the direction, consistency, and ongoing evolution of the function. This role balances hands-on recruitment leadership, people leadership, and enterprise-level contribution, ensuring high-quality hiring outcomes while helping advance Talent Acquisition as a modern, technology-enabled capability within the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, with full-cycle recruitment accountability in complex environments.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including leading and developing a team of recruiters (required).
  • Direct experience recruiting within Asset Management is strongly preferred, with deep domain understanding.
  • Additional experience supporting Technology or other corporate portfolios is an asset.
  • Demonstrated success hiring professional and leadership-level talent, including complex or niche roles.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders.
  • Ability to balance hands-on delivery, team leadership, and contribution to broader TA priorities.
  • Technology-forward mindset, with comfort leveraging recruiting systems, data, and emerging AI tools to enhance hiring outcomes.
  • Highly collaborative, with a team-first leadership approach and strong relationship-building capability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio anchored in Asset Management, with additional oversight for Technology and other portfolios as required.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Centres of Expertise (Total Rewards, L&D, HR Service Delivery) to ensure alignment between hiring and broader talent strategies.
  • Develop deep, credible partnerships with business leaders by building a strong understanding of Asset Management functions, talent segments, and competitive market dynamics.
  • Provide informed perspective on talent availability, competitor landscape, and hiring strategies, particularly within Asset Management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, including executives, influencing decisions on role scoping, candidate assessment, selection, and offer strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, building capability in consultative recruiting, proactive sourcing, and stakeholder management.
  • Establish clear expectations and strong team operating rhythms, driving accountability across quality, pace, and experience.
  • Foster a collaborative, team-first culture, aligned to broader TA and HR priorities.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Operate as an active member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team, contributing to priorities, direction, and consistency of TA delivery across the enterprise.
  • Partner with TA leadership and HR stakeholders to evolve recruitment practices, standards, and hiring capability across the organization.
  • Lead or contribute to enterprise TA initiatives, including hiring excellence, process improvement, and capability-building efforts.
  • Bring forward insights, trends, and perspectives from your portfolio to inform broader TA strategy and decision-making.
  • Leverage and champion modern recruiting technologies, including ATS/CRM platforms and emerging AI-enabled tools.
  • Demonstrate a forward-looking mindset on the role of technology in enhancing sourcing, assessment, and candidate experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality of hire, and decision-making through tech-enabled approaches, contributing to the ongoing evolution of TA capabilities.
  • Personally lead and support complex and high-impact searches, ensuring strong assessment rigor and alignment to business needs.
  • Deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience, reinforcing IGM’s brand in the market.
  • Ensure strong execution of TA governance, operating models, and best practices across your portfolio.
  • Leverage data (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline health, conversion metrics) to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of TA workflows, tools, and hiring practices.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines, particularly within Asset Management.
  • Apply market insights, compensation awareness, and competitive intelligence to strengthen hiring strategies.
