About The Position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager leads the development and execution of strategic talent acquisition initiatives that support the Credit Union's workforce and business objectives. This role partners with organizational leaders to drive talent attraction, employer branding, and recruitment effectiveness while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager uses data-driven insights, innovative sourcing strategies, and strong leadership to attract, hire, and retain top talent in support of organizational growth and success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the functions of the position required
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive talent acquisition experience in a corporate, agency, or executive search, including responsibility for recruiting executive, technical, professional, and high-volume positions.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of leadership experience managing talent acquisition teams, or recruitment programs.
  • Advanced knowledge developing and executing talent acquisition strategies, building diverse talent pipelines, influencing hiring decisions, and delivering talent solutions that support organizational growth and workforce objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge developing and executing recruitment strategies across multiple business functions and organizational levels.
  • Advanced knowledge partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers to develop workforce planning and talent acquisition solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge utilizing recruitment analytics, labor market data, and performance metrics to drive business decisions and process improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment technologies, and talent acquisition vendors.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and standard office technology, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with members, coworkers, and external partners.
  • Communicate information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and listen attentively to understand questions or concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational objectives, support business growth, and ensure the availability of critical talent.
  • Oversee the strategy, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the corporate internship program.
  • Serves as a strategic talent advisor to leaders, providing workforce insights, labor market intelligence, recruiting expertise, and hiring recommendations to support effective talent decisions and organizational success.
  • Designs, implements, and facilitates hiring manager development programs focused on recruitment best practices, behavioral and competency-based interviewing, candidate assessment, employment law compliance, and effective selection techniques to strengthen organizational hiring capability and improve talent outcomes.
  • Leads and continuously improves talent acquisition processes, programs, technologies, and service delivery models to ensure efficient, scalable, and high-quality recruitment outcomes.
  • Designs and implement innovative sourcing strategies and talent pipeline initiatives to attract, engage, and maintain a diverse pool of qualified candidates for current and future workforce needs.
  • Develops and oversees candidate attraction strategies that strengthen the organization's reputation as an employer of choice and enhance talent acquisition effectiveness.
  • Establishes and oversees selection methodologies, assessment processes, and interview practices that promote objective hiring decisions, improve quality of hire, and support organizational culture and values.
  • Oversee the strategic administration and optimization of recruitment technologies, including the applicant tracking system, to maximize efficiency, data integrity, compliance, reporting capabilities, and candidate experience.
  • Directs all pre-employment screening, background investigation and assessment programs while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Cultivates and maintains strategic partnerships with educational institutions, workforce development organizations, professional associations, and community agencies to strengthen talent pipelines and workforce readiness.
  • Manages relationships with external recruiting partners, staffing agencies, advertising providers, and assessment vendors to optimize talent acquisition resources and service delivery.
  • Monitors and analyzes recruitment performance metrics, workforce trends, and hiring outcomes to identify opportunities for process enhancement, support data-driven decision-making, and improve organizational talent outcomes.
  • Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
  • Performs supervisory duties in accordance with the Credit Union's policies and procedures and all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws. Responsibilities include participating in the recruitment, interview, selection, and onboarding of employees; providing training and development; planning, assigning, and overseeing work; evaluating performance; coaching and counseling employees; administering recognition and corrective actions as appropriate; responding to employee concerns and supporting issue resolution; and supporting employment actions such as promotion, transfer, demotion, or separation in accordance with established policies and legal requirements.
