About The Position

This is a hands-on Senior Manager, Software Engineering role, combining aspects of a Principal/Senior Staff Engineer with team leadership. The remaining 30% is focused on managing and mentoring a team of 3-6 engineers. This is a technically deep role, not solely a people management position. The interview process will include system design and live coding assessments. The Content Services team builds the core services that power user interaction with the VIZIO OS platform, focusing on building and operating scalable, reliable, always-on software through iterative development and continuous integration in a collaborative environment. Engineers on this team own problems end-to-end, from architecture and platform design to product strategy and applied generative AI, remaining hands-on and delivery-focused.
