About The Position

Kyocera Document Solutions KBA (KBA) is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead, develop, and coach a team of sales professionals. The primary objective of the sales team is to develop their territories, identify prospects, build relationships with new and existing clients, and close business across KBA's complete line of hardware, software, solutions, and services. The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving 100% of quota through team management, including interviewing, conducting performance reviews, monthly planning, submitting accurate forecasts, and conducting ride days. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, challenge oneself, and influence change within the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Office Technology Industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills including the desire to develop and lead a Sales team.
  • Motivated to learn new technology in an evolving industry.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Customarily and regularly work more than half your time selling or obtaining orders away from the employer’s place of business.

  • Direct sales leadership of multiple teams in the office equipment/imaging market.
  • Working knowledge of Compass Sherpa and eAutomate.
  • Social media / Marketing savvy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 4 to 8 sales representatives.
  • Lead, motivate, and counsel the sales team to meet or exceed budgeted sales revenue, gross profit, unit placement, expense, and equipment contributions projections while maintaining teamwork and high customer service standards.
  • Ensure the team achieves minimum sales and prospecting activity levels.
  • Coach the team to utilize company CRM systems for entering companies, contacts, and activities, and ensure opportunities are managed correctly through each funnel stage.
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings to review activity, attainment, prospecting, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop territory strategy, including account and contact identification.
  • Ensure each salesperson has a sales funnel sufficient to achieve their assigned quota.
  • Plan, coach, train, advise, and review individual sales representatives' progress in achieving revenue targets, and assist them in career planning, training, and growth.
  • Schedule and host periodic informational team meetings and team-building exercises, and support headquarter initiatives.
  • Facilitate a team-based, inclusive work environment to promote sales and drive employee and customer retention.
  • Build account structures and territories for sales representatives.
  • Work with customers and internal staff to resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Proactively build an internal and external pipeline of sales representative candidates and introduce products and services via outreach efforts.
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation between teams and marketplaces.
