About The Position

Universal Music Group (UMG) is seeking an enthusiastic, self-starting Senior Manager, Production to join Virgin Music Group’s client-facing Operations team at its Los Angeles headquarters. The role manages day-to-day releases, content, and assets for multiple Virgin Music Group label clients. It serves as a direct liaison between VMG/FUGA and label clients and works closely with internal Operations, QC, Support, Label Management, and Business Development teams.

Requirements

Experience in the music industry at a distributor, label, management, or technology organization.
Experience with metadata management, audio/video assets and file times, splits, and royalties.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of industry trends and technology.
Passion for music platforms and technology.

Responsibilities

Act as a direct liaison between VMG/FUGA and label clients.
Manage releases and coordinate all assets associated with each release.
Ingest and manage catalog in the FUGA platform.
Ensure the accuracy of metadata, timelines, and release plans.
Provide metadata management, including use of client project management systems.
Collaborate with internal Operations, QC, Support, Label Management, and Business Development teams.
