About The Position

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading production operations across all automation shifts and schedules to maintain adequate inventory levels, maximize production efficiencies, and meet customer fulfillment requirements. The Senior Manager will collaborate with site leadership and Home Office teams to develop weekly production plans that align with utilization goals and service level expectations. This position drives strategies to ensure production quality by communicating issues and discrepancies to teams and leadership, reporting changes in schedules, forecasts, and inventory. The role utilizes multiple software systems to manage and track inventory, cycle time, and pallets designated for delivery. Additionally, the Senior Manager develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs, analyzes site performance and variances to identify process improvement opportunities, and coordinates planned downtime windows with maintenance. The role also monitors and improves key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, throughput, fault rates, and cost per case. Collaboration with cross-functional partners to resolve inventory issues is essential. The Senior Manager drives the execution of multiple business and financial plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers, providing resources, setting performance standards, measuring progress, and developing contingency plans. This role also promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring business needs are met by evaluating current plans and initiatives, and soliciting suggestions for improvement. Finally, the Senior Manager provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based work environment, setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, providing recognition, coaching, and promoting a belonging mindset.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in warehouse automation systems and operational KPIs or 2 years’ experience leading operations across multiple shifts.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (for example, Power BI, Tableau and AI tools).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area or equivalent experience in operations/distribution/logistics/retail OR 3 year's experience as a Walmart Supply Chain Operations Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 3 years' experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload.
