This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading production operations across all automation shifts and schedules to maintain adequate inventory levels, maximize production efficiencies, and meet customer fulfillment requirements. The Senior Manager will collaborate with site leadership and Home Office teams to develop weekly production plans that align with utilization goals and service level expectations. This position drives strategies to ensure production quality by communicating issues and discrepancies to teams and leadership, reporting changes in schedules, forecasts, and inventory. The role utilizes multiple software systems to manage and track inventory, cycle time, and pallets designated for delivery. It involves developing, communicating, and implementing processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners. The Senior Manager analyzes site performance and variances to identify process improvement opportunities and coordinates planned downtime windows with maintenance. Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, throughput, fault rates, and cost per case are monitored and improved. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to resolve inventory issues and driving the execution of business and financial plans and projects. This includes identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers, providing resources, setting performance standards, measuring progress, developing contingency plans, and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. The position promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. It ensures business needs are met by evaluating current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with business partners, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
