About The Position

The L&D Product & Services Team is responsible for the delivery of Pfizer’s Learning Technology Ecosystem, aiming to empower learners to succeed and seize future opportunities through an innovative and engaging learning experience that accelerates business outcomes. Key focus areas include Learner Experience, Content Owner Experience, and Learning Insights. The Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and Learning Agent Product Owner will help set the vision, strategy, and overall success of the LXP and agent. These experiences and services are crucial for a timely and streamlined response to critical business needs, ultimately delivering an exceptional learner experience. The Product Owner will guide the strategic direction of LXP and the learning agent, identifying impactful challenges, balancing a forward-thinking vision with immediate opportunities, customer needs, and sound business judgment, while also managing everyday product concerns. This individual is a key contributor to the vision and trajectory for the solution's entire lifecycle, defining value, scope, and roadmap in close collaboration with agile teams and other product owners. They will build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure the product roadmap aligns with the set vision, metrics, and overall Enterprise strategy.

Requirements

  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and independently drive progress with proper planning and management.
  • 6+ years of experience in the Information Technology space with a BA/BS or equivalent.
  • Experience with product management.
  • Passion for creating user-centric digital and interactive experiences.
  • Direct experience working in Agile/Lean Development methodology.
  • A strong communicator with great written and verbal skills.
  • Up to date and knowledgeable about the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in the Learning Technology space.
  • Experience successfully contributing to and executing against product visions, strategies, and roadmaps that achieve goals and outcomes.
  • Exceptional at working with and analyzing user metrics and turning them into actionable insights, including the use of A/B testing and analytics platforms.
  • Up to date and knowledgeable about the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in the digital space and AI.
  • Understanding of AI system behavior and limitations (accuracy, latency, cost).
  • Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
  • This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success developing, implementing, and maintaining strategic initiatives at increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Proven experience with implementing learning and development of technical solutions (Degreed, AI agents, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to produce positive outcomes working in matrixed teams that span multiple functions.
  • Certification in Agile and Scrum development practices is a plus.
  • Experience in working with geographically distributed teams preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the entire life cycle management of the LXP and Learning Agent technology/digital product, including purpose, definition, design, planning, development, prototyping, and testing.
  • Applies design thinking techniques (e.g., user stories, wireframing, prototyping) to define product features and develops the roadmap based on effort sizing and business value.
  • Collaborates with development teams and the business for sprint reviews.
  • Uses team scrum/agile development techniques (continuous delivery, field trials) and tools for team collaboration, product testing, issue tracking, and backlog management.
  • Helps to develop product vision and objectives, translating product vision, business, and user needs into prioritized user stories for the product backlog.
  • Experience working directly with users/stakeholders to co-design solutions in context, including creation of wireframes and prototypes.
  • Demonstrated ability to own solutions from discovery through deployment and adoption.
  • Organizes product demos and prioritizes backlog with the agile team.
  • Works with Product Managers and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver against OKRs.
  • Tracks metrics (e.g., Objectives & Key Results) and builds reports to measure progress.
  • Delivers ongoing initiatives and releases for efficiency and improved user/product experiences leveraging user-centric design principles and data.
  • Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility and ensures PDLC documentation, system configuration, and compliance activities are up to date.
  • Collaborates with Pfizer Digital/Business QA, Legal, and Compliance to perform risk analysis and lead efforts to resolve quality issues.
  • Develops and manages Communications, Training, and Documentation.
  • Develops and manages administrative and operational support policies and processes.
  • For Learning Agent specifically, crafts clear, structured, and goal-oriented instructions to guide agent behavior, including defining persona, constraints, and output formats.
  • Understands agent architectures.
