About The Position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence is a senior individual contributor responsible for building the analytical and competitive intelligence foundation for product and business decision-making. The role leads market, product, and competitor analysis to uncover strategic gaps, quantify opportunities, and shape product inbound, roadmap direction, and go-to-market decisions. The role compares product features, functionality, positioning, and future vision against a defined competitor set, translating analysis into decision-ready recommendations for Product, PMM, and business leaders. It brings structured market signals into roadmap decisions and helps connect product capabilities to measurable commercial impact. The position leads competitive intelligence for priority product and solution areas; develops benchmarking, teardown, opportunity-sizing, and strategic comparison frameworks; analyzes portfolios across capabilities, differentiation, packaging, pricing, adoption, and future direction; and quantifies trade-offs, risks, and growth opportunities. It also establishes analysis quality standards and enables PMMs and cross-functional partners to apply competitive intelligence methods at scale. The role conducts product and competitor teardowns, builds market-sizing, forecasting, and scenario models, performs quantitative analysis, designs experiments and causal tests, and develops customer preference models such as conjoint or MaxDiff when needed.
