About The Position

Infosys BPM’s Digital Procurement Practice is seeking senior leaders to help clients modernize, optimize, and future-proof their procurement organizations. The practice advises clients throughout the digital procurement lifecycle, from strategy and technology selection to implementation optimization and remediation. It is technology-agnostic and acts as an advisor rather than a systems integrator, helping clients identify suitable approaches and maximize value from implementations regardless of the implementation partner. This client-facing leadership role calls for deep procurement subject matter expertise, consulting skills, and the ability to guide complex digital transformation programs. The Senior Manager advises clients on procurement technology and processes, leads workstreams or engagements, manages client expectations, coaches team members, and supports practice growth and business development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in the job description.

Nice To Haves

  • 6–10 years of consulting experience in procurement and/or supply chain, including S2P system implementations.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading client engagements end-to-end.
  • Prior experience expanding existing client relationships or supporting business development efforts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities applied in client-facing environments.
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Effective facilitation and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to executive audiences.
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel in a consulting context.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on procurement technology implementations, drawing on hands-on experience with leading S2P platforms.
  • Identify implementation risks, design pitfalls, and change challenges, applying lessons learned from previous programs.
  • Help clients optimize and stabilize existing procurement systems.
  • Partner with technical and data teams, and understand how procurement data is captured, governed, and used for insights.
  • Translate business needs into practical technology and data solutions while recognizing system limitations.
  • Assess current-state procurement processes and operating models.
  • Design efficient, scalable future-state processes aligned with business objectives.
  • Balance standardization with flexibility for diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Address non-technology enablers, including policy, governance, organization design, and people capabilities.
  • Support change management to drive adoption and sustainable outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
  • Lead workstreams or full engagements, managing scope, quality, and client expectations.
  • Coach and develop junior team members and client resources.
  • Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership and knowledge sharing.
  • Expand existing client relationships and identify follow-on opportunities.
  • Participate in business development pursuits, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Build market presence through insight-driven conversations.
