About The Position

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manager, Pre-Sales to support complex enterprise software sales cycles, with a focus on manufacturing software. The role combines product expertise and client-facing solution consulting to help convert pipeline opportunities across direct client engagements, partner-supported sales, and industry events. The position supports discovery, product demonstrations, requirements responses, solution scoping, proposals, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements. It also develops reusable pre-sales assets, enables partners and team members, tracks pre-sales activity, and applies win/loss feedback to improve sales effectiveness. The role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing operations technology and OT/IT integration, including MES, quality management, condition monitoring, OEE monitoring, ISA-95, OPC-UA, MQTT, historians, PLC/SCADA data, Azure IoT Operations, and Microsoft Fabric. The person will design and present agentic AI platform solutions integrated with systems such as ERP, CMMS, PLM, and WMS, and demonstrate manufacturing AI use cases such as downtime response, quality deviation, and shift handover. The role also involves addressing industrial cybersecurity concerns, scoping and conducting manufacturing AI proofs of concept, and bridging standardized platforms with factory-specific environments, including through embedded MVP or Forward Deployed Engineer models. Travel may be required from 0% to 80%, depending on client and business needs. Accenture anticipates that the job posting will remain open until 11/28/2026.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing AI and ML applications, including anomaly detection, sensor-based failure prediction, multi-source operational-data root cause analysis, and agentic workflows that route recommendations while retaining human oversight.
  • Understanding of industrial AI orchestration, including agent reasoning across structured OT/IT data, human-in-the-loop approval, and appropriate boundaries for autonomous action.
  • Familiarity with OT/IT cybersecurity requirements, including IEC 62443, OT-to-cloud network segmentation, OT network anomaly detection, and sector-specific compliance considerations.
  • Experience scoping and running manufacturing AI proofs of concept, including defining asset or production-line scope, establishing data access and pipeline configuration, planning retrospective or live validation, and presenting results to operations and IT audiences.
  • Ability to deliver persona-tailored, scenario-based agentic manufacturing AI demonstrations, such as downtime response, quality deviation, or shift handover.
  • Experience in a Forward Deployed Engineer model or equivalent embedded MVP model, bridging standardized platforms and factory-specific data environments.
