About The Position

Oracle is seeking an experienced software development leader to lead and grow an engineering team building agentic AI solutions intended to make developers more productive. The role defines the engineering vision for a new Agentic AI initiative, drives execution strategy, and ensures operational excellence across large-scale software programs. It works with product management, architecture, cloud operations, security, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, high-quality enterprise applications and developer platforms.

The position provides strategic platform engineering leadership within a global organization, influencing technical and organizational decisions and helping shape agentic AI, software development, and cloud technologies. The successful candidate brings software engineering leadership, distributed systems, platform development, and Agile delivery experience, and fosters innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, mentoring, and scalable engineering processes. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 8+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; equivalent practical experience is also accepted.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience designing or integrating AI/ML-powered features into production systems.
• Ability to define and execute technical strategy for a team, aligning engineering efforts with product goals and organizational priorities.
• Experience leading teams through complex technical and organizational challenges, including cross-team collaboration and dependency management.
• Strong technical foundation to guide architectural decisions, evaluate system tradeoffs, and maintain high standards of software quality.
• Track record of building and scaling engineering organizations in high-growth or ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with organizational leaders to shape Agentic AI product direction.
