About The Position

The Senior Manager – People Operations is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and foster a positive work environment. Reporting to the Chief People Operations Officer (CPO), this role leads a team of HR professionals, collaborates across departments, and ensures effective HR support throughout the organization. The position plays a crucial role in shaping company culture, driving employee engagement, and supporting business goals through strategic HR management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws, and processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities
• Experience with HRIS and HR analytics

Nice To Haves

• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred
• Master's degree in HR or related field
• Experience in agricultural or related industries
• Proficiency in Spanish (speak/read/write)
• Experience with ADP and Jazz HR systems
• Expertise in diversity and inclusion initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and direction
• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Promote company's Guiding Principles and Core Values
• Guide leaders on HR policies, programs, and best practices
• Oversee recruitment, benefits administration, and HRIS management
• Coordinate management and leadership training initiatives
• Mediate employee relations issues and ensure policy compliance
• Analyze HR metrics and KPIs to evaluate and improve HR initiatives
• Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Collaborate with legal counsel on HR policy development
• Manage relationships with external HR service providers
• Present HR initiatives and reports to all levels of the organization
• Other duties as assigned
