As a Senior Manager, People & Culture (HR), the role involves acting as a strategic partner to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities across multiple client groups. This includes providing guidance on organizational design, change management, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness. The position also entails driving a high-performance, people-first culture, managing complex employee relations, leveraging data for informed decisions, leading and developing direct reports, and contributing to the evolution of People & Culture programs and policies while ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success leading complex people initiatives in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and change management.
  • Comfortable operating at both the strategic and hands-on level, moving from business planning discussions to day-to-day issue resolution without losing momentum.
  • Strong business acumen and can connect people decisions to operational and commercial outcomes.
  • Confident using data to spot trends, assess risk, and recommend practical solutions.
  • An effective coach and relationship builder who can influence leaders with credibility, judgment, and tact.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience working with an HRIS platform.
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic People & Culture partner to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities across multiple client groups.
  • Support and provide trusted guidance to leaders on organizational design, change management, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Partner with leaders to drive a high-performance, people-first culture that supports accountability, development, and inclusive leadership practices.
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, and risk-based people issues in partnership with internal stakeholders and external counsel where required.
  • Leverage data to identify risks, recommend solutions, and support more informed business decisions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop your direct reports, building capability and ensuring a high standard of service delivery across the region.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of People & Culture programs, policies, tools, and communications to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and best practices while balancing business needs with employee experience.
