About The Position

Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations to lead its Digital Identity team. The role oversees identity verification operations that help protect the delivery ecosystem while supporting a seamless experience for drivers. The Senior Manager uses data to identify opportunities, address operational challenges and emerging fraud risks, and develop scalable solutions.

The position involves developing talent and high-performing teams, setting priorities amid ambiguity and change, and partnering across the business to deliver measurable results. The role also leads complex initiatives from strategy through implementation and drives operational improvements that strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field and 3 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related area; OR 5 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related area.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading teams and developing people, including recognizing strengths, identifying development opportunities, closing knowledge gaps, and building talent.
• Ability to interpret data, recognize patterns, identify root causes, and translate insights into practical solutions that drive measurable improvements.
• Track record of delivering results in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities shift and solutions may not be clearly defined.
• Experience building, improving, and scaling operational processes, leading complex initiatives, and holding teams accountable for outcomes.
• Ability to move from problem identification to implementation, challenge existing processes, and pursue continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders, navigating competing priorities, and driving shared outcomes.

Nice To Haves

• Leadership of cross-functional task forces or projects.
• Master’s degree or master’s studies in Operations Management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop associates by setting clear expectations, identifying skill and knowledge gaps, and creating growth opportunities.
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and strong execution.
• Analyze operational data and business trends to identify root causes, develop actionable solutions, and measure their impact on business performance.
• Set priorities and guide the team through evolving business needs and incomplete information while maintaining operational excellence.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve accuracy, streamline identity verification processes, reduce costs, and strengthen operational performance.
• Build and oversee operational workstreams, establish milestones, align resources, remove roadblocks, monitor results, and adjust strategies to achieve business outcomes.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Driver Experience, Product, and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliver secure, efficient identity verification solutions.
