About The Position

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Technology leads complex, technology-enabled transformation initiatives across Walmart’s talent ecosystem. This role takes business problems from discovery through solution design, implementation, adoption, and value realization. You will simplify processes, define future-state experiences, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and lead cross-functional teams through delivery. Success requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to connect business needs, user experience, technology, data, and operations to create scalable solutions and measurable outcomes. Our team transforms the technology experiences that support how people discover opportunities, apply, are assessed, hired, onboarded, and move within Walmart. Our portfolio includes career sites, applicant tracking systems, assessment experiences, internal mobility, business-facing hiring tools, scheduling, onboarding, and the integrations that connect them. We are building a more connected talent technology ecosystem that can scale across Walmart’s businesses, markets, and workforce.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in salaried or high-volume/hourly hiring, with strong end-to-end process knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of the talent technology landscape, leading industry platforms, and best-in-class practices.
  • Proven ability to lead complex transformations from discovery and current-state assessment through design, implementation, launch, and adoption.
  • Strong digital execution experience, including translating business needs into requirements and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Design through delivery.
  • Ability to connect process, technology, data, and user needs into scalable solutions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, executive communication, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Supply Chain, Communications, or related field and 4 years’ experience in retail, production, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in retail, production, operations management, or related area.
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience.

  • Master’s Degree in business or related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology transformations from discovery through implementation and optimization.
  • Evaluate user experiences, processes, systems, data, and operational needs.
  • Define future-state workflows, experiences, requirements, and success measures.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Legal, and business teams through delivery.
  • Lead testing, readiness, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to apply automation, AI, and emerging technology.
  • Use data and user insights to improve experiences and business outcomes.
  • Communicate decisions, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
