About The Position

As Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for building the marketing operations function from the ground up, architecting the backbone for Xpansiv’s next phase of growth. This hands-on role involves developing strategy-aligned processes, managing marketing automation, and implementing additional solutions to deliver reliable data, trustworthy reporting, clean automation, and compliant processes across business lines and regions. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to pursue growth opportunities in renewable energy, clean fuels, wholesale power, and more, making a significant impact in a global clean tech leader.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of marketing operations experience in B2B SaaS environments
  • Hands-on administration experience with leading marketing automation solutions and working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM)
  • Built lead scoring and lifecycle automation at scale
  • Delivered attribution that stakeholders trust
  • Implemented and led scaled-up adoption of AI tools for key GTM workflows
  • Developed excellent documentation and stakeholder enablement practices
  • Ability to not only design systems and processes but also create and execute in a hands-on fashion
  • Natural collaborator who effectively builds consensus with cross-functional stakeholders and develops successful long-term relationships with distributed colleagues
  • Brings a disciplined, process-oriented perspective while remaining agile and responsive to business needs
  • Loves to build and is comfortable starting from a blank slate
  • Ability to travel ~10%

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of marketing ops leadership experience preferred
  • Pardot experience a strong plus
  • Experience developing consent and privacy programs across US and EU, and building preference/subscription centers
  • Energy or environmental commodities industry experience
  • WordPress experience

Responsibilities

  • Administer and evolve Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), including configuration, integrations, data sync, and release management, to develop a reliable command center for marketing
  • Own marketing data architecture, campaign taxonomy, and documentation, and continually enhance lead scoring, routing, and lifecycle automation to power efficient pipeline and revenue growth
  • Create and mature reports and attribution capabilities to deliver clear information and practical insights, providing the heartbeat of our GTM intelligence
  • Oversee website operations/reporting and manage our outside web agency to produce excellent brand and demand outcomes
  • Establish consent and privacy operations and a global preference/subscription center to ensure compliance and deliverability in a way that supports the business
