About The Position

The Senior Manager, Lift Maintenance provides safe and efficient lift operation through proper maintenance and repair. The role supervises overall lift maintenance programs and lift construction, and is year-round. The position requires spending 80% of working hours outdoors with crews. Pay is $85,489.17–$90,916.88 per year. Employment offers may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Yan and Doppelmayer experience required.
Advanced technical experience, including rigging for splices and destructive testing using multiple techniques.
Demonstrated effectiveness in training, coaching, and correcting personnel.
Master mechanic in one or several lift systems, such as electrical, drive, or mechanical.
Ability to manage budgets and capital projects associated with lift construction and maintenance.
Strong familiarity and working knowledge of OSHA and safety practices.
Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, and email.

Nice To Haves

Engineering background; a state engineering certificate is also a plus.
Outside operations experience.
Heavy equipment certification, such as Crane, Class A, or Class B.
Ability to develop working relationships with the State Tramway Board and a firm understanding of state requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and efficient operation of lifts through correct maintenance and repair.
Supervise overall lift maintenance programs and lift construction.
Develop, coordinate, and schedule summer maintenance plans for fixed-grip and detachable lifts.
Recruit and hire lift maintenance personnel.
Manage budgets and capital projects associated with lift construction and maintenance.
Train, coach, and correct personnel as needed.
Spend 80% of working hours outdoors with crews.
