About The Position

Global Workplace Security (GWS) establishes enterprise standards and operational programs that prevent workplace violence, strengthen threat management capabilities, and enhance employee safety across the Company’s global operations. The team partners with Legal, Employee Relations, HR, Risk, and Global Security to deliver scalable, risk-informed programs aligned to enterprise strategy and segment needs. Workplace Security plays a critical role in enabling safe and secure working environments by identifying risks, operationalizing prevention strategies, and building a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. The Senior Manager, Global Workplace Security is the senior segment-facing leader responsible for translating enterprise workplace security strategy into scalable, compliant, and measurable programs across assigned regions or business segments. Reporting to the Director, GWS, this role operates as a strategic integrator, aligning enterprise frameworks with operational realities, advising senior segment leadership, and overseeing regional execution through Managers and Specialists. This position balances enterprise influence with operational accountability, ensuring consistent program maturity, regulatory compliance, and measurable risk reduction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate security, threat management, law enforcement, or risk management.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing direct reports, project teams, or enterprise-level programs.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing security or risk programs across regions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Expertise in workplace violence prevention and threat assessment frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study

Responsibilities

  • Own and advance the enterprise workplace security strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate risk appetite, business priorities, and regulatory obligations.
  • Define and evolve global standards, frameworks, and operating models for workplace violence prevention, threat management, and preparedness programs.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into multi-year roadmaps, prioritized initiatives, and scalable solutions that drive measurable risk reduction and program maturity.
  • Evaluate emerging risks, business changes, and regulatory developments to proactively adjust enterprise program direction and investment priorities.
  • Serve as the enterprise escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high-risk threat assessment cases, providing guidance on mitigation strategy, case resolution, and defensibility.
  • Identify enterprise-wide trends, systemic risks, and gaps through data analysis and threat intelligence, and recommend strategic interventions.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, Employee Relations, and Risk Management as a senior advisor on threat-related matters, crisis response, and complex investigations.
  • Escalate significant risks, trends, and capacity constraints to executive leadership with clear recommendations and options.
  • Provide oversight of workplace violence prevention compliance across segments, ensuring sustainable adherence to evolving legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Establish governance programs that drive audit readiness, documentation integrity, and defensibility.
  • Anticipate regulatory change and lead enterprise responses, including policy updates, program enhancements, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assess compliance risk exposure and recommend mitigation strategies or investments to reduce enterprise risk.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Global Workplace Security team, building leadership capability and encouraging career growth.
  • Define organizational structure, workforce planning, and capability strategies to support current and future business needs.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and capability gaps to drive accountability, quality, and delivery across teams
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior segment and functional leaders on workplace security risks, program effectiveness, and investment decisions.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven insights on threat trends, compliance posture, and program outcomes to executive audiences.
  • Influence enterprise and segment-level decision-making by communicating risks, mitigation strategies, and expected outcomes.
  • Strengthen cross-functional alignment by ensuring workplace security considerations are embedded into broader enterprise strategies and operational decisions.
