About The Position

Benchmark Gensuite is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Events and Conferences to turn its growing global calendar of trade shows, industry-membership conferences, and customer events into a disciplined, revenue-connected program. It covers major industry events, the flagship IMPACT customer conference, and regional conferences across international markets. The position leads strategy and portfolio management, including event selection, sponsorship and exhibition decisions, budgets, contract negotiations, and vendor and venue relationships. It also leads end-to-end planning and on-site execution for international customer conferences, maintaining a consistent brand and subscriber experience while adapting to local market norms. The role establishes scalable event systems and playbooks, aligns cross-functional goals into coordinated on-site plans, and defines and reports performance measures such as pipeline influence, cost per meeting, subscriber engagement, and relationship value. It uses AI, automation, and data to improve planning and measurement, reassesses the portfolio, and leads a small team of coordinators and external production, AV, and logistics partners. The position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is marked hybrid.

  • Lead end-to-end planning and on-site execution for international customer conferences, coordinating regional leaders, local vendors, and global content and speaker teams.
  • Maintain a consistent brand and subscriber experience across regional conferences while adapting to local market norms and relationships.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Executive Leadership to translate team goals into coherent event plans.
  • Create and maintain event planning cadence, systems, and playbooks covering pre-show planning, booth and space design, speaker and executive preparation, lead capture and routing, and post-show follow-up.
  • Standardize the global event approach across focus regions and plan event schedules in advance while balancing budgets, growth needs, and new opportunities.
  • Assemble the appropriate teams for each event and coordinate strategic market engagement.
  • Define and own event KPIs, including sourced and influenced pipeline, cost per meeting, subscriber engagement and retention signals, and executive or analyst relationship value.
  • Report event results rigorously and use AI and automation to improve planning, staffing, follow-up, budget modeling, and speaker and content recommendations.
  • Reassess the event portfolio, recommend discontinuing underperforming events or investing more in high-value events, pilot new formats, and develop business cases for changes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of coordinators and manage external production, AV, and logistics partners.
  • Build effective working relationships with regional GMs, Sales leadership, Customer Success, and Product teams.
