About The Position

Reporting directly to the General Manager, SWGR and functionally to the Divisional Finance Leader, this role serves as the senior finance partner for the TPS business. As a member of the TPS leadership team, this role provides financial leadership, strategic insight, and decision support to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and achievement of business objectives. The Senior Manager, Finance leads the finance function for TPS, providing functional oversight and direction to site controllers and finance resources across Langley, Arlington, and future TPS locations. The role partners closely with business unit, commercial, operations, engineering, and site leaders to improve financial performance, optimize working capital, support strategic growth initiatives, and ensure sound financial controls and compliance. This position serves as a critical link between TPS operations and the divisional finance organization, driving consistent financial processes, reporting, forecasting, and performance management across the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineered products, electrical infrastructure, or project-based businesses required.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with general managers and operational leaders to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management experience.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, working capital, and operational finance.
  • Experience leading finance professionals across multiple locations and organizational structures.
  • Experience supporting project-based operations, contract accounting, and revenue management.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial results into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience working within a publicly traded company environment with SOX compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CMA, CGA, or equivalent professional accounting designation preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations in North America preferred.
  • Experience within switchgear, power systems, electrical infrastructure, industrial equipment, or engineered-to-order environments preferred.
  • Experience with project accounting, revenue recognition, and large customer projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to the TPS leadership team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Lead all finance activities for the TPS business, ensuring alignment with business objectives, divisional priorities, and corporate financial requirements.
  • Partner with business, commercial, operations, engineering, and supply chain leaders to drive profitable growth, productivity improvements, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the annual budget, monthly forecasting, strategic planning, and long-range financial planning processes for TPS.
  • Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve profitability, cash flow, and return on invested capital.
  • Own monthly financial reviews and performance reporting, providing actionable insights to business and finance leadership.
  • Drive accountability for revenue, operating income, working capital, inventory, and cash flow performance across the business.
  • Provide leadership and development to the Manager, Revenue & Project Controls and broader TPS finance organization.
  • Provide functional leadership, coaching, and direction to site controllers supporting Langley, Arlington, and future TPS locations to ensure consistent financial processes, controls, and reporting.
  • Partner with plant managers and site leadership teams to improve manufacturing performance, inventory management, productivity, cost control, and operational execution.
  • Oversee project and revenue management processes, including backlog performance, forecast accuracy, profitability analysis, and financial risk management.
  • Support commercial teams through pricing analysis, margin improvement initiatives, contract reviews, customer profitability analysis, and business case development.
  • Serve as the key finance liaison with Shared Services teams, ensuring effective accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, billing, and cash management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Regal Rexnord financial policies, internal controls, SOX requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Lead and support internal and external audit activities, including remediation of findings and implementation of process improvements.
  • Drive standardization of financial processes, reporting, and governance across TPS locations and functions.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives through the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS), leveraging technology, analytics, and best practices.
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, coaching, performance management, and fostering a high-performance finance culture.
