Senior Finance Manager

Light & Wonder•Las Vegas, NV

About The Position

The Senior Finance Manager is a key business partner to the Operations business, overseeing Cost of Goods Sold-related Operations spending and providing analyses to support informed decisions and drive efficiencies. The role forecasts manufacturing labor and overhead absorption against actuals for new and refurbished EGMs, Tables, Utilities, and Systems, and provides financial guidance across Supply Chain to optimize profitability and help business partners understand their impact on results. The position supports cost and inventory forecasting, standard-cost matters, refurbished-game investment analysis, portfolio prioritization, obsolescence and scrap reviews, inventory count variances, purchase price variance forecasts, inventory write-ups and write-downs, manufacturing variances, expedited freight, and rework charges. It identifies business risks and opportunities, reviews procurement cost-per-platform forecasts against production actuals, explains variances, and adjusts forecasts when BOM costs or vendor pricing differ from expectations. The role also supports Oracle improvement and IT/Cost Accounting projects and oversees production reviews and reporting to ensure platform costs, labor and overhead burdens, and direct-material costs are accurate. It coordinates annual raw-material standard-cost changes, works with Procurement to align expected unit costs, leads an effort to move standard-cost changes from monthly to quarterly, and conducts raw-material and used-inventory obsolescence reviews with relevant teams. This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Applicants may be asked to consent to due diligence and a background investigation. The job description is not all-inclusive, and other job-related tasks may be assigned.
