About The Position

At Walmart, Tech Finance plays a strategic role at the intersection of Technology, Enterprise Finance, and Business Strategy. It goes well beyond budget support —it is a business-partnering function that shapes how Walmart invests in technology to drive growth, efficiency, and maintain a competitive advantage. Join the Enterprise Technology Finance team as a Senior Manager supporting both US & Sam’s Club Technology. This role goes beyond traditional FP&A to proactively shape investment decisions, operational trade-offs, and long-term value creation across a complex technology portfolio. In this highly visible role, you will bring financial rigor and analytical clarity to how we invest in AI, Cloud, next generation tools, and execute against our People led, tech powered strategy. You will partner across Finance, Tech, Product, and People to translate performance data into actionable decisions for senior tech leaders, ensuring investments are measured, efficient, and aligned to long-term business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
  • 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to VP/SVP-level technology leaders on investment prioritization and resource allocation
  • Provide forward-looking financial and operational insights to influence roadmap decisions
  • Lead scenario modeling to evaluate trade-offs across speed, cost, risk, and value delivery
  • Translate technical initiatives into clear business value narratives for executive leadership
  • Drive transparency around Cloud & AI unit economics (cost per transaction, cost per deployment, cost per user), and productivity
  • Identify and implement process improvements to make planning and analysis more efficient and insightful
