About The Position

Finance Analytics (FA) works at the intersection of Finance expertise, data, technology, and artificial intelligence to improve decision-making, transform Finance processes, and build scalable capabilities across the organization. Professionals in this role combine hands-on delivery of critical solutions with enablement of Finance teams, shifting emphasis between execution and enablement according to leadership priorities, business needs, and organizational maturity. The role may directly lead or deliver Finance analytics, automation, AI-enabled workflows, process redesign, data solutions, prototypes, and strategic transformation initiatives. It may also educate, coach, and train Finance employees; develop reusable methods and learning assets; support communities of practice; and help analysts and teams adopt technologies and new ways of working independently. The analyst connects Finance processes, data, systems, and business decisions, translating Finance requirements into scalable, technology-enabled solutions. Working closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, data, and other partners, the role maintains Finance ownership of business outcomes and serves as a trusted point of contact for data provision, functional data integration, governance, process design, automation, and responsible AI use. The role also explores emerging technologies, conducts structured experiments and proofs of concept, evaluates Finance use cases, and helps determine which capabilities should be scaled. The analyst communicates findings and recommendations, supports implementation and adoption, and enables successful solutions and practices to be reused across Finance. This hybrid position is based in Portland, Oregon, with four days per week in the office and one day remote. Relocation assistance is not available. The position is not open to visa sponsorship or existing visa holders; applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country of employment. Final candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check and may be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen.
