Analyst - Blockchain Technology & Analytics

Visa•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Visa’s Stablecoin team is building cutting-edge onchain infrastructure to change the way money moves. While onchain solutions began as niche and speculative, they are now transforming how value moves across the global financial ecosystem. Visa is at the forefront of this transition. We are rapidly expanding our stablecoin and tokenized money infrastructure to enhance our network and develop solutions for partners around the world. Visa brings trust, scale, and security to the evolving onchain ecosystem, creating the opportunity for generational impact in payments and beyond. Role Summary We are looking for a technically curious and highly motivated Blockchain Technology & Analytics Analyst to support the evaluation, monitoring, and implementation of blockchain and digital asset technologies. This role combines blockchain data analytics, AI-assisted development and research, technical due diligence, and project execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable working hands-on with blockchain data and infrastructure while also being able to translate technical concepts into clear insights and presentations for business, product, technology, and client stakeholders. The candidate does not need to be a blockchain expert on day one, but should have a strong technical foundation, curiosity about emerging technologies, and the ability to rapidly learn new platforms and tools using AI-assisted development and research. A successful candidate will be someone who can take a relatively open-ended question such as "How is this validator performing?", "How does this blockchain network work?", or "Should we evaluate this technology provider?" and independently turn it into a structured technical investigation. They will be comfortable using AI tools, data, APIs, documentation, and hands-on experimentation to quickly develop an informed point of view, and then communicate the findings clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements

2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Basic understanding of Ethereum, EVM-compatible blockchains, smart contracts, transactions, wallets, nodes, and blockchain validators.
Experience writing SQL queries and analyzing structured datasets.
Ability to work with REST APIs and JSON-RPC interfaces.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently research unfamiliar technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple technical workstreams simultaneously.
