About The Position

Fanatics is seeking a Senior Manager, Fanatics ONE Experiences to lead the production of events owned and operated by Fanatics ONE for its most valuable members. Fanatics ONE provides exclusive access to experiences such as sold-out games, hospitality at major sporting events, trips, and Fanatics Fest. This role is responsible for delivering these events and experiences, managing the entire portfolio including parties, sports hospitality, and the Fanatics ONE Premium Experience at Fanatics Fest. The goal is to grow these formats over time, reaching more members without compromising the premium standard. The role requires owning the event calendar, budget, production standards, and operating processes. Success in this role depends on a strong production background, experience managing complex events end-to-end, and the ability to manage a portfolio, making decisions on funding, cuts, program returns, and scaling formats. The Senior Manager will lead a small team of producers and collaborate with various departments including Strategy, Gifting Operations, VIP Hosting, Partnerships, Brand Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Data.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in live event production or premium hospitality, with at least 2 years of people leadership experience.
  • Experience producing large-format events end-to-end, including festivals, stadium and arena activations, and multi-day programs.
  • Ability to manage complex work using written plans that include owners, dates, decision points, and easily accessible status updates.
  • Experience building operating processes such as project plans, planning calendars, intake procedures, production standards, playbooks, and systems of record.
  • Proven ability to hand off repeatable formats to external teams for successful execution.
  • Demonstrated experience with budget ownership, managing to financial targets, and defending them with data.
  • Experience running a portfolio of events, making decisions on funding, cuts, and program strategy.
  • Experience growing an event or program from a single format into a larger initiative.
  • Comfort with financial metrics, including utilization, cost per head, and pacing against plans.
  • Experience developing early-career talent and maintaining high performance standards.
  • Willingness to travel and work nights, weekends, and event days as required by the calendar.
  • Passion for sports and fandom, with an understanding of what makes an experience feel premium.
  • Familiarity with ticketing and event management platforms (TicketManager is a plus), CRM systems, and Airtable.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual calendar of member events, hospitality activations, parties, and signature events, including decisions on what runs, what stops, and what gets added.
  • Maintain a live view of pacing against entitlements to identify gaps early.
  • Run every event using a written project plan detailing ownership, deadlines, and decision points, stored in a system accessible to leadership.
  • Publish a forward schedule with locked milestones and ensure the team adheres to it.
  • Transform repeatable event formats into detailed checklists for execution by VIP hosts or account managers.
  • Manage intake and scope rules to ensure the calendar is planned rather than reactive.
  • Oversee systems of record for events, guest lists, assets, and utilization.
  • Conduct post-event debriefs and incorporate learnings into future plans.
  • Manage the events, experiences, and hospitality budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Track and report on cost per experience and cost per member served, reallocating funds to high-performing initiatives.
  • Manage utilization of fixed assets like suites and tickets, reporting monthly.
  • Provide clear reports on delivered outcomes, costs, production, and planned changes.
  • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution, including run of show, staffing, vendors, budget control, risk planning, and on-site command.
  • Lead on-site execution for major events, such as the Fanatics ONE Premium Experience at Fanatics Fest, ensuring quality even under tight timelines.
  • Establish and maintain the production standard for Fanatics ONE moments, ensuring quality regardless of direct team involvement.
  • Lead and develop a small team of producers, defining clear ownership lanes.
  • Maintain a high but sustainable performance standard throughout a demanding calendar.
  • Grow the format of owned events to reach more members without diluting their premium nature.
  • Develop recurring event intellectual property (IP) that Fanatics can own and repeat.
  • Build a case for scaling the portfolio, whether managed by the team or in conjunction with the wider Fanatics Events organization.
