About The Position

Deepgram is hiring a Senior Manager, Events & Field Marketing to own events and field marketing across North America. Events and field marketing are the company’s largest demand generation investment. Reporting to the Director of Demand Gen, this role will lead more than 20 trade shows and conferences each year, partner co-hosted programs, and field programs developed with Sales. The role balances flagship brand experiences with programs designed to move target accounts. It begins as a senior individual contributor, with room to grow a team. The role will help set event strategy with marketing leadership and collaborate with regional sales leaders, Product Marketing, alliances, Demand Generation, SDRs, and Marketing Operations. The position is responsible for planning and running the North American event portfolio end to end, including budget, partner funding, contracts, vendors, Sales enablement, lead capture, follow-up, and measurement. It will also develop creative brand activations, grow Deepgram Speak as a first-party event series, and support community programming in the San Francisco and New York City offices. Deepgram expects employees to operate with an AI-first mindset: actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, integrate them into everyday workflows, and apply AI effectively to deliver results. The company moves quickly, so the role requires adaptability, experimentation, and continual learning.

  • Ability to analyze funnel metrics and event ROI and present clear recommendations to executive and sales leadership.
  • Experience managing program budgets, negotiating vendor contracts, and holding agencies accountable for quality and timelines.
  • Ability to develop an original creative concept and take it through full production.
  • AI-native approach, including building AI and automation workflows to reduce manual work and creating playbooks others can adopt.
  • Ability to flag risks and opportunities early and align multiple stakeholders through clear communication.
