About The Position

Vantage is seeking an experienced, strategic, hands-on leader to own how technology and data enable its construction delivery organization. The role is centered on understanding how field, project and functional teams work, identifying important problems, and designing technology and data solutions around real user needs. The Senior Manager owns the path from problem definition through requirements, technology strategy, solution evaluation and implementation, pilots, data connectivity, adoption and value measurement. This is a senior-level individual contributor position on a lean team. The successful candidate will develop a holistic technology strategy and roadmap for the Delivery organization; manage and evolve its technology ecosystem; lead cross-functional initiatives and emerging-technology pilots; improve data consistency, accessibility and usability; and make recommendations based on demonstrated business value. Requirements

8 or more years of experience in business technology, digital transformation, technology strategy, business systems, operational excellence or similar roles.
Demonstrated experience owning complex technology initiatives from business need through implementation and adoption.
Strong user-focused mindset and experience translating business problems into practical technology solutions.
Experience evaluating technology portfolios and making strategic recommendations about what to build, buy, integrate, improve or retire.
Experience leading technology pilots with clearly defined success criteria and measurable outcomes.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with data, systems, integrations and data flows.
Proven ability to drive work across functions and influence without direct authority.
Strong executive communication skills and ability to turn complexity into clear recommendations and decisions.
Experience succeeding as a hands-on senior individual contributor in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Experience with enterprise platforms, analytics, automation or emerging AI technologies.

Nice To Haves

Background in construction, engineering, infrastructure, data centers or another complex operating environment; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of Delivery teams, workflows, pain points and unmet needs.
Translate real-world use cases into clear business, technology and data requirements.
Design solutions around how teams need to work and stay connected with users after implementation to confirm solutions address the intended problem.
Develop and drive a holistic technology strategy and roadmap for the Delivery organization.
Own, manage, assess and evolve the Delivery technology ecosystem, including evaluating tools, connections, gaps and unnecessary complexity.
Determine where to simplify, integrate, enhance, replace, retire or introduce technology capabilities.
Identify opportunities to use technology, automation and AI to improve delivery.
Own priority initiatives from problem definition through implementation, adoption and measurement.
Coordinate business teams, enterprise technology partners and vendors to advance initiatives.
Develop business cases, requirements, implementation approaches and measures of success.
Drive decisions, resolve ambiguity and maintain momentum across complex cross-functional work.
Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies by defining use cases, scope, users, success criteria and measures.
Gather user feedback, assess pilot results, and recommend whether to scale, modify or stop pilots based on business value.
Understand how information is created, captured, connected and used across Delivery.
Partner across the enterprise to improve data consistency, accessibility and usability, and clarify platforms, integrations, reporting and data sources.
Consider people, process, data and technology holistically when solving problems.
