About the position
Nomad Health is seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the Senior Compensation Manager will be responsible for defining, implementing, and administering compensation-related projects and roles as the company continues to grow. They will also be accountable for leading and developing best practices in compensation and benefit programs, managing Total Rewards programs, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of related experience, deep knowledge of compensation and benefits administration, and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for leading and developing best practices for compensation and benefit programs for both Corporate and Clinical employees
- Manage implementation, administration, and governance of all Total Rewards programs
- Run annual open enrollment processes, including benefit plan shopping and selection
- Administer Leaves of Absences, Reasonable Accommodations, and Workers Compensation Claims
- Own the process of participation in third-party compensation surveys
- Develop and deliver compensation-related communication and training
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations within the Total Rewards space
- Manage and audit Total Rewards data across multiple systems (Workday, vendors, etc.)
- Supports the development and integration of company-wide wellness curriculum
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience, specifically around U.S. compensation best practices and program components (base pay, incentive, and additional reward programs), benefits administration, and LOA administration
- Prior experience managing annual compensation cycles, including systems aspects, required
- Deep knowledge of benefits, compensation and payroll governance and requirements
- Proven experience developing, and administering compensation plans
- Expert level proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and feedback-driven environment
- Experience with Workday and ticketing systems like Jira

- Eligible for discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance
