About The Position

The Senior Manager, Community is a builder and connector who shapes what it means to be part of the Tory Burch Foundation community of Fellows, advisors, and industry partners. This role elevates the Foundation’s community function, with an expanded mandate to deepen the Fellows Experience, strengthen relationships across every stakeholder group, and drive an aggressive plan to scale the size and impact of the Foundation’s network, all in service of advancing women entrepreneurs. You will partner closely with the Vice President of Experience and collaborate cross-functionally with the Partnerships and Marketing teams to build a community framework that grows with Fellows and partners over time.

Requirements

• Successful track record managing communities, ideally within a mission-driven or entrepreneurship-focused organization.
• Experience mobilizing communities around a shared mission, including activating members, cultivating peer leaders, building trust, and increasing meaningful participation over time.
• Demonstrated success managing community and platforms (e.g., Circle, Mighty Networks, Skool or similar) and executing engagement strategies.
• Experience using workflow automations, CRM systems and digital tools (e.g. Monday, G-Suite, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic, scale-oriented community-building initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience representing an organization across multiple channels.
• Self-Starter – must manage up, be action and detail oriented and a pro-active problem-solver.
• Experience in live event and meeting software including Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
• High sense of urgency, timeliness and commitment to follow-through.
• Highly collaborative team player – no task is too big or too small.
• Background in Communications, Sociology, Customer Success or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deepen the Fellows Experience.
• Strengthen relationships across every stakeholder group.
• Drive an aggressive plan to scale the size and impact of the Foundation’s network.
• Partner closely with the Vice President of Experience and collaborate cross-functionally with the Partnerships and Marketing teams to build a community framework.
• Check in on Fellow conversations, respond to engagement threads, and surface timely connections.
• Pulse the health of the community across digital and in-person touchpoints.
• Co-create the rituals, language, and practices that make the onboarding experience distinct for Fellows.
• Shape and safeguard the invisible structure (community framework) that makes the Fellows Experience feel intentional.
• Develop a comprehensive content calendar for the Circle platform.
• Program engagement moments on the Circle platform.
• Analyze what's resonating on the Circle platform and continuously raise the quality and consistency of the experience.
• Extend ownership across all platforms (in-person gatherings, digital touchpoints, and moments inside the broader Tory Burch organization) to ensure Fellows feel seen and connected.
• Support an aggressive plan to expand the Fellows cohort, deepen “Pathway” programming, and grow the broader entrepreneur network.
• Identify new channels, partnerships, and program extensions.
• Own the KPIs that measure whether we’re moving the needle.
• Design and deploy feedback mechanisms including surveys, pulse checks, and structured conversations.
• Translate feedback into community development strategies and bring them to the broader team with insight and implementation plans.
