About The Position

The Lenny Peters Foundation (LPF) and Bethany Medical are seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Community Engagement & Foundation Director. This position will support both charitable activities associated with LPF, community outreach efforts for Bethany Medical, and promotional activities for both organizations. The Lenny Peters Foundation is a non-profit charity organization whose goal is to assist those in need around the world – and even closer to home – right here in North Carolina. The position requires occasional evening and weekend event coverage.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Fully bilingual (English and Spanish), written and spoken
Proven history in non-profit sector operations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Public speaking and camera readiness

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree preferred
Direct experience creating visual content with Canva
Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize marketing workflows and productivity

Responsibilities

Managing and coordinating activities, contributions, and programs in both the Piedmont Triad and international markets where LPF supports orphanages and other charitable programs.
Representing LPF and Bethany Medical at events throughout the Triad, including speaking on behalf of the organizations as needed.
Engagement with Spanish-speaking audiences in the Triad; bilingual.
Contribute to strategic planning for the foundation and goals for its activities.
Creating and editing content, including video content, that can be shared on LPF and Bethany Medical social media channels.
Knowledge of how A.I. can improve, streamline, and create content.
Tracking all activities and compiling reports for Bethany Medical senior leadership and LPF Board of Directors.
Close coordination with the Bethany Medical marketing team and external communication partners.
