About The Position

This role is for a Senior Manager, Commercial Operations on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Toronto. The position will proactively support the Oncology Canada Field Sales & Marketing Teams to ensure Commercial Operations programs are executed efficiently, compliantly, and on time. The role involves partnering closely with cross-functional colleagues such as Analytics, Marketing Ops, IT, HR, Training, and Meetings & Events to manage field enablement, including alignments, communications, onboarding, and contracting support. The position offers scope and impact for individuals who enjoy connecting people, details, and execution to make a difference for teams and patients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech proven experience in Commercial Operations roles with increasing responsibilities and accountability.
  • Functional field support experience in the Canadian market.
  • Understanding of Canadian biopharmaceutical commercial dynamics, laws, and regulations.
  • English proficiency.
  • Confident working in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with platforms such as Veeva and Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Executing field sizing, alignments, targeting, segmentation, and incentive compensation analyses.
  • Coordinating localized promotional materials with Marketing Ops and IT.
  • Ensuring materials follow Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) review processes.
  • Managing field communications (Sales Updates, Competitive Updates) through approvals and distribution.
  • Partnering with HR and IT on routine field roster management.
  • Supporting HCP contracting requests for advisory boards and consulting engagements.
  • Coordinating meetings, exhibits, sponsorships, and funding requests with Events partners.
  • Coordinating onboarding/offboarding logistics and communications with HR, IT, and collaborators.
