About The Position

The Senior Manager, Business Analysis and Insights leads data-driven evaluation and strategic planning to support business growth and operational excellence. The role partners with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and refine business strategies based on analysis and insights. It oversees multiple projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while driving efficiency and compliance. Through collaboration and expert guidance, the position enhances decision-making and continuous improvement to meet evolving business needs and deliver measurable results. The Business Analysis and Insights team supports Walmart’s strategic initiatives by delivering actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency. The team assesses performance, identifies opportunities, and implements strategies aligned with organizational goals, while supporting effective execution of business plans and compliance. The position is based at 703 Associate Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716, United States of America.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field and 4 years of experience in data analytics, project management, business, or a related area; OR 6 years of experience in those areas.
2 years of experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Extensive business analysis experience focused on data-driven decision-making for strategic initiatives.
Ability to develop and implement business strategies by evaluating analytical needs and delivering actionable insights.
Expertise in stakeholder management and collaborating with internal and external partners to align on business objectives.
Strong communication skills to clearly convey complex data findings and influence cross-functional teams.
Capability to assess program performance, drive process improvements, and ensure operational efficiency.
Leadership experience mentoring and developing teams to achieve business goals and foster continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement enterprise business strategies in alignment with regulatory, compliance, and legal teams.
Translate complex business requirements into data-driven solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data utilization.
Guide and mentor associates, fostering accountability, development, and a high-performing team environment.
Recommend and implement business strategies, reassessing and adjusting them based on feedback and results.
Identify program and project opportunities and assess their feasibility, financial performance, and ROI through data analysis.
Drive cross-functional execution of multiple business plans by setting priorities, removing barriers, and measuring progress.
Establish timelines, workflows, and process controls to support efficiency and compliance.
Consult with key stakeholders to evaluate plan effectiveness and apply improvements.
