About The Position

The Duncan YMCA is looking for a Senior Manager, Aquatics who is ready to lead, build, and grow. With both a lap pool and leisure pool, Duncan has tremendous opportunity to expand programming, strengthen participation, develop a great team, and create an aquatics experience where our community can thrive. We’re looking for a leader who sees possibility—someone who can build a strong and reliable aquatic team, develop future leaders, bring creative ideas to programming, and balance exceptional safety and member experiences with smart operational and financial decisions. If you’re energized by developing people, growing programs, and turning potential into impact, this could be the opportunity for you. Come help us build what’s next at Duncan—and make some waves along the way! The Senior Manager, Aquatics provides strategic and operational leadership for a large or complex YMCA aquatics operation, including multiple pools or a materially broader aquatic portfolio. The role is accountable for safe, high-quality program delivery, financial sustainability, exceptional member experiences, and the development of a high-performing aquatic workforce. In addition to leading day-to-day aquatic operations, the Senior Manager develops department leaders, strengthens staffing and succession pipelines, uses participation and financial data to drive program growth, and contributes to branch and association priorities. The Senior Manager models the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
