CNBC is investing in its digital subscription business and building new products for investors. The Senior Manager, Acquisition & Growth Strategy will own how the business finds and converts new subscribers across paid, owned, and partner channels. Reporting to the VP, Direct-to-Consumer, this role serves as the team's internal growth strategist and is accountable for new subscriber volume. The role owns the levers that turn readers into subscribers, including paid acquisition, paywall testing, subscription landing pages, and checkout, and helps shape pricing and promotional offers. It is a builder role responsible for establishing testing, measurement, and media structures to demonstrate what drives growth and scale successful approaches as the business grows. Success in the first year includes tracking new subscriber volume against plan weekly; maintaining and acting on a documented testing program; consolidating paid accounts and moving them out of learning phases; implementing conversion tracking by plan and term; completing an incrementality test with Finance; activating first-party retargeting audiences; and using a breaking-news promotion playbook on major market moments.
