About The Position

AppDirect is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Accounting professional to join their team. This role is responsible for leading acquisition integrations and purchase accounting, managing the full monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of GAAP, experience with ASC 805, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear reporting. This role involves managing and developing a team of three direct reports and partnering with leadership, operations, and external auditors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
• 4+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience with acquisition integrations, purchase accounting, or financial consolidations (ASC 805)
• Proficiency with an ERP system
• Clear, direct communication skills — you will regularly present financial information to leadership and cross-functional teams who may not have an accounting background

Nice To Haves

• CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
• Experience with lease accounting is considered an asset
• NetSuite experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition integrations and purchase accounting in accordance with ASC 805, working cross-functionally with finance and legal
• Own the full monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all accounting entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including investor reporting where applicable
• Maintain and continuously improve the general ledger system and financial record-keeping infrastructure
• Manage and develop a team of three direct reports, setting clear expectations and supporting their professional growth
• Partner with external auditors on the annual audit, serving as the primary internal point of contact
• Research and resolve accounting issues to ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP
