About The Position

Intapp is seeking an experienced, initiative-taking, detail-oriented, and customer service focused Senior Manager of Accounting to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, this role will be responsible for providing leadership in managing our corporate accounting operations including Accounts Payable and enterprise consolidations, and will be a key contributor to the continuing growth of the Company. As the Senior Manager of Accounting, the successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities involving many aspects of the monthly financial close, financial operations, and reporting. This will include supporting the Assistant Corporate Controller and the VP, Corporate Controller with global consolidations, financial analysis, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of accomplishments within rapidly growing global organizations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive professional finance/accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of management experience with demonstrated strengths in managing close processes and consolidations for a multinational organization.
  • Experience in publicly traded company
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills across finance and business teams
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Process-oriented mindset with experience improving and documenting workflows
  • High attention to detail and quality control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Experience partnering with IT and/or leading the implementation of financial systems or technology-driven process improvements
  • Experience with NetSuite and BlackLine strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end close process, including consolidations, account reconciliations, subsidiary reviews, and preparation of the consolidated reporting package.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting, including variance analysis and executive-ready insights.
  • Own and manage the global close calendar, coordinating timelines and deliverables across functional areas and leading close status meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Manage and develop a distributed accounting team, including personnel based in Belfast and remote employees across the U.S., fostering high performance, collaboration, and consistency.
  • Perform and review journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency (FX) considerations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Demonstrate strong technical accounting expertise in U.S. GAAP, including capitalized software (ASC 350-40), lease accounting (ASC 842), acquisition and contingent liabilities (ASC 805), and stock-based compensation (ASC 718), ensuring accurate accounting treatment, compliance, and financial reporting across complex transactions.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to shorten the financial statement close cycle, including leveraging technology, improving workflows, and clearing cross-functional interdependencies.
  • Own and optimize BlackLine, the Company’s account reconciliation and close management platform.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements for areas of responsibility.
  • Support external reporting requirements, including contributions to 10-Q and 10-K disclosures as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as FP&A, HR, Legal, IT, and others to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient operations.
  • Support external audits and tax filings, including preparation of supporting schedules, reconciliations, and required documentation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting managers and staff, including performance management and ongoing training.
  • Contribute to and lead departmental and cross-functional process improvement and documentation initiatives.
  • Participate in or lead ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Participate in department and inter-departmental process improvement and documentation.
  • Filing or assistance in filing various state, county and city tax as well as other government filings.
  • Participate/lead other ad-hoc projects as needed.
