About The Position

Princeton Properties is seeking a full-time Senior Maintenance Technician for its Westford, Massachusetts property. The role assists the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing property maintenance and involves completing work orders, making basic repairs, responding to emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule, and helping keep the community clean and functioning. Training is available for troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues. The position also participates in snow removal when required, including nights and weekends during storms.

Requirements

Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
Maintenance experience is beneficial, including apartment or general repair experience.
Possess a basic set of hand tools and be comfortable using them.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Be able to lift 50 pounds and physically perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and crawling.
Be willing to participate in rotating on-call coverage for emergencies and snow removal.
Successfully pass a pre-employment background screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience in multifamily apartment-home maintenance.
Experience with maintenance and repairs, plumbing, or electrical work.

Responsibilities

Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing property maintenance.
Complete daily maintenance work orders across apartment homes.
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues.
Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
Work independently and with a team to keep the community clean and functioning.
Communicate with vendors and property management staff as needed.
Participate in snow removal when required, including nights and weekends during storms.
