About The Position

Princeton Properties is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for its property in the Dover, New Hampshire area. The role is suited to a dependable, motivated technician with residential maintenance experience who is interested in learning and growing in a hands-on environment. Training with skilled technicians is provided. The technician handles maintenance across apartment homes, works independently and with a team, and communicates with vendors and property management staff. The role includes rotating on-call emergency coverage and snow removal when required, including nights and weekends during storms. The preferred candidate lives in the greater Dover area and must pass a pre-employment background screening.

Requirements

Residential maintenance experience is required, such as apartment maintenance or general repair.
Possess a basic set of hand tools and be comfortable using them; examples include a hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, and drill bits.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Be able to lift 50 pounds and physically handle tasks such as bending, reaching, and crawling.
Be willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies and snow removal.
Successfully pass a pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

Complete daily maintenance work orders across apartment homes.
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC issues.
Respond to emergency calls on a rotating on-call schedule.
Work independently and with a team to keep communities clean and functioning.
Communicate with vendors and property management staff as needed.
Participate in snow removal when required, including nights and weekends during storms.
