About The Position

The Senior Maintenance Technician joins the engineering team at Renaissance Shoals Resort & Spa and performs essential repairs and upkeep throughout the property. The role includes electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and pool maintenance to keep the resort in good condition for guests and staff. The technician supports guest comfort by responding promptly to service requests, performing preventive maintenance and chemical balancing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Balance pool and spa chemicals and take and monitor readings.
• Perform routine HVAC and exhaust-fan maintenance, including cleaning or replacing filters, cleaning coils, and replacing fan belts.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and tubes, repair fixtures, rewire light fixtures, and wire electrical fountain pumps.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, system cleaning, adjustments, and property inspections; maintain operating logs.
• Respond promptly to service calls and prioritize urgent repairs.
• Follow safety and service standards; handle chemicals and regulatory paperwork; maintain inventory.
