About The Position

Interstate Parking is seeking a dedicated Maintenance team member to keep parking facilities and equipment clean, functional, and operating effectively. The role includes maintaining parking structures, gates, doors, technology kiosks, and signage, as well as performing cleaning and janitorial work. The position is based in Duluth, Minnesota, and is full-time at 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Some technology or mechanical ability, including the ability to use reason and logic to troubleshoot machine issues.
Experience with machinery, tools, and technology.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to work outside year-round.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Inspect and maintain parking gates, doors, and technology kiosks.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and technology issues related to parking facilities.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating smoothly.
Perform cleaning and janitorial duties, including litter removal, emptying trash receptacles, snow removal, sweeping and mopping, trash removal, pressure washing, and power sweeping.
Respond promptly to emergency repairs to maintain uninterrupted parking services.
Collaborate with the operations team to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Change signage for parking lots.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
