About The Position

The Senior Maintenance Resource Manager oversees all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products, and includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment. As the Senior Maintenance Resource Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of scheduled maintenance activities per contractual requirements for North America’s growing wind turbine fleet. As a key member of our operations team, the selected candidate will manage supplier execution including overseeing the safety, quality, & delivery of planned maintenances. Being a part of a cross-functional team, you will be responsible for coordinating initiatives from the business & clearly communicating strategies with asset managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wind industry technology, maintenance practices, and safety standards or related Wind Industry experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for all wind turbine assets based on O&M manual requirements, seasonal weather trends, and manpower capacity.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule maintenance activities in a manner that ensures on-time maintenance while optimizing for operational efficiency.
  • Partnering with contracted companies, ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill sets to support maintenance activities.
  • Hold contracted companies accountable for the performance of maintenance teams including performance targets, quality, and safety.
  • Implement predictive maintenance strategies to anticipate and address emerging issues & engineering limitations & business objectives
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety among contracted partners
  • Ensure accurate records of maintenance activities, including site level reporting, task management, and future work planning.
  • Document standard work processes including but not limited to site vendor inductions, field maintenance activities, and operational best practices.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, detailing maintenance performance, KPIs, and operational efficiencies.
