About The Position

ETRIA is seeking a hands-on manufacturing professional for a high-impact leadership role at its Lawrenceville, Georgia facility, which produces toner products for the office printing industry. The Senior Machine Operator – Process helps drive daily production, mentors operators, addresses technical challenges, and collaborates with Quality and Engineering to support safe, efficient operations and high product quality. The role operates on a day shift described as a rotating 6 a.m.–6 p.m. shift.

Requirements

4–6 years of experience operating complex manufacturing process equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to delegate work, train others, and troubleshoot equipment with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in practical math, including fractions, decimals, and percentages, for batching and adjustments.
Strong English reading, writing, and verbal communication skills to follow complex work instructions and lead shift handovers.

Responsibilities

Direct shift workflow, assign tasks, and partner with supervisors on scheduling, staffing, and attendance reporting.
Onboard new operators, coach team members on safety and quality standards, and check daily work output.
Log production results, provide shift handovers, and report team performance insights to management.
Complete and verify production logs, inspection check sheets, and shift reports accurately.
Operate high-speed processing machinery and manage raw and processed material loads.
Perform complex equipment changeovers, including deep cleaning, teardowns, line setups, and fine-tuning.
Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues, identify root causes, and adjust parameters within specification.
Collaborate with Quality Control to sample and test output, making machine adjustments to meet strict tolerances.
Promptly report and escalate complex mechanical or process defects, safety risks, and system breakdowns to Engineering and leadership.
