Senior Machine Learning Ops Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our bidder team at Chartboost. In this role, you will be responsible for improving our model deployment workflow and developing our next-generation platform for model training and deployment. Your work will involve building reliable ML pipelines, supporting model observability, collaborating with data science and platform engineering teams, evaluating new technologies, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in CS or a related field, 5+ years of experience in software engineering or machine learning roles, and experience with Python, Spark, Kubernetes, and DevOps/CI tools. Hands-on experience with deep learning and knowledge of the ad tech and/or mobile space would be a plus.

• Develop reliable ML pipelines for training, deploying, and serving deep learning models
• Build tools to support model observability and measure feature and model drift
• Collaborate with data science and platform engineering teams to enhance ML infrastructure
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies for smooth migrations
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best development practices
• Participate in technical discussions and propose innovative improvements to the product and processes

• Degree in CS, mathematics, physics or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or machine learning roles
• Experience building production pipelines in Python for ML workflows
• Distributed-computing experience with Spark or Kubernetes
• Experience building workflows with Airflow or Kubeflow
• Knowledge of DevOps/CI tools (Travis, Jenkins, etc.)
• Hands-on with deep learning in production pipelines (a plus)
• Ad tech and/or mobile space experience (a plus)
